The Spider 275's hydroformed aluminum frame is as classy as they come and offers heavy-duty performance that won't weight you down. The center of Intense's Spider 275 is its signature suspension platform. VPP suspension balances forces to eliminate unwanted compression and give you the smoothest ride possible. VPP bikes use a patented link configuration and axle path to apply some of the pulling force from the chain to counteract the motion caused by pedaling. VPP suspension is plush and features minimal ''pedal-bob.'' Intense's signature VPP suspension is combined with the brand new iBox pivot technology, which allowed Intense to bring the rear wheel forward a bit and effectively shortening the chainstays. Shorter chainstays means a snappier, more responsive ride.
