Made with love in the USA, Intense Cycles designed the 951 EVO from the ground up to suit the capacities of 27.5'' wheels. By utilizing 8.5'' of travel, brought to you by DVO, and an aggressive geometry, Intense Cycles made sure the 951 EVO is light enough in the corners and manageable in tight sections. The head tube angle has been slackened to 62.5 degrees to accommodate the 27.5 specific fork offset, which inspires confidence through daunting steeps and brutal rock gardens at high speeds. The chain stays were kept short at only 17.5 inches to provide stability at higher speeds, while remaining dexterous in the corners. Top tube lengths have been extended to ensure you have no shortage of room in the cockpit. The bias has been adjusted slightly more to the front, making the front wheels stick better, for some added assistance in the corners. Because the 27.5'' wheel size brings the bottom bracket height below the axle center, the bottom bracket is right at 13 3/4'' to give the bike a nice, stable feeling, transitioning through to the overall control of the 951 EVO DVO.
