It was designed to function as a long distance gravel and unpaved road race machine but, thankfully for you, the Haanjo transcends the bounds of the original design. Whether you're itching to cut a line through a stretch of untamed gravel or a simply in need of a versatile bike that can tackle the grind of the daily commute to work, the Haanjo is ready to roll. Designed with stability and endurance in mind, the Haanjo features Diamondback's endurance geometry which offers a slightly higher head tube height that helps to reduce strain on a rider's back and neck. This improves the fit for riders with marginally less pelvic rotation and core stability. The Haanjo also offers a slightly slacker headtube angle. At 70deg, the headtube is slacker than a typical cyclocross bike, which is similar in many ways to the Haanjo. This feature along with a longer wheelbase offers the rider much more confidence and stability in the descents. Wider bars provide extra leverage for the climbs and added control. With mounts for a rack and fenders and room for larger tires, it is clear that the Haanjo is a very capable rig. Cross bike? Kind of. The perfect commuter? Perhaps. Comfortable long distance rides? Most certainly. The Haanjo features a fully butted 6061-t6 alloy disc specific frame with a formed top tube, integrated tapered headtube and a carbon fork for stability and control. The FSA Gossamer Cross MegaExo crankset works with the Shimano Ultegra 11-speed drivetrain. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors offer ample stopping power and a great feel. DiamondBack pairs the Haanjo Trail with HED Tomcat Disc rims laced to sealed hubs. The wheelset is wrapped with the 40mm wide Kenda Happy Medium tire. Rounding out the capable Haanjo is a DB 3D forged saddle and seatpost to put you comfortably in the right position.
