Revamped for 2015, Banshee's Legend is a serious downhill contender. Their engineering team has made changes to the bike's geometry, travel, tire clearance, and tubing to create this unique steed. Accommodating their rider's requests, Banshee lowered the center of gravity and standover height to give the Legend a steady feel. At 63 degrees, the head tube angle is extra slack, and accompanied by a bottom bracket which is 2mm lower than its predecessor. The frame is built to fit the classic 26'' tire size, and features 205mm of plush travel. The new tubing is 5% stiffer without adding weight. The linkage has been refined, preventing pedal kick-back, and accommodating modern cassette ranges. Axle path provides stability while suspension is compressed, optimizing control in rocky sections and turns. The Legend is also compatible with ODI fork bumpers and zero stack headsets. With its low center of gravity, the Legend puts riders into the perfect attack position. The Legend is a loaded downhill rig with serious potential, it should not be overlooked.
