Tested in the Austrian Alps, proven in racing, and ready to take your performance to the next level. The KTM Lycan 272 LT is a fully locked and loaded alloy 27.5 full suspension mountain bike. Made tough, durable, and affordable, the Lycan 272 is an excellent choice for riders who are looking for big performance without spending a lot. Made from a hydroformed triple-butted alloy, the front and rear triangle offer unparalleled stiffness and durability, in a lightweight package that can survive years of hard riding or racing. But what fun is having a great frame without some excellent squish that takes the sting out of the trails. A RockShox Pike RC 27.5 fork gives you 160mm of travel, 15mm thru axle, and an oversized steerer for improved front end rigidity. In the back, a RockShox Monarch RT-D2 gives you 160mm of travel, so the ride feels butter smooth no matter what you're riding over. And you can lock out either the front or rear suspension, or both, to improve pedaling efficiency, make climbing easier, or when you have to ride on the road (which would be unfortunate, wouldn't it?) . A full Shimano Deore XT M8000 11-speed drivetrain delivers some of the smoothest and most reliable shifting in the business. This 2x11 drivetrain benefits from plenty of trickle down tech from Shimano's newest pro-level XTR group, for crisp dependable shifting. Shimano Deore XT 8000 hydraulic brakes provide the best stopping power you'll find anywhere. Rounding out the build is set of KTM DT Team II Trail tubeless ready 27.5 rims laced to DT Swiss hubs, and all wrapped up in a Schwalbe Hans Dampf Trailstar tire on the front and Schwalbe Rock Razor Pacestar on the reat. Topping the bike is Fizik Niene saddle, with a Kindshoc LEV-DX hydraulic adjustable dropper seatpost.
