Originally (and still) a maker of high end motorsports bikes, KTM has brought its engineering prowess to bear on some of the most advanced mountain and road bikes around. Tested in the Austrian Alps, proven in racing, and ready to take your performance to the next level. The KTM Scarp Prestige 11 27.5 mountain bike is a carbon fiber, full suspension mountain bike that's precision engineered to help you achieve your best on every single ride. Packed with technology, super lightweight, and designed for speed and durability, the Scarp lets you squeeze every last watt out of the frame, while giving you the confidence to tackle line you usually walk. At the heart of the Scarp Prestige is KTM's M:5651 Nano Premium carbon fiber monocoque frame and Front Rear triangle are lightweight and stiff enough for XC, yet tough enough for all-mountain riding. Frame Guard technology helps protect the most sensitive areas of the frame from damage by reinforcing key areas. A tapered steerer helps stiffen up the front end of the frame for racing, while Hollow Carbon 3D dropouts keep weight low. Internal cable routing for a clean profile, and to keep cables from snagging while you ride. A pressfit BB improves bottom bracket stiffness and makes servicing easier. Suspension duties are handled by a RockShox SID XX Worldcup 27-15-SA-100-T 100mm travel fork with remote lockout, and a RockShox Monarch XX RL shock with 105mm of travel, oversized steerer tube for increased stiffness, and 15mm thru axle. This gives you plenty of squish in both the front and rear when the trail gets gnarly, remote let you lock out the front to improve climbing efficiency or help you carry more speed when racing. A full Shimano XTR M9000 drivetrain delivers some of the smoothest and most reliable shifting in the business. This 1x11 drivetrain benefits from plenty of advanced RD that Shimano has developed over the years for the best shifting performance you'll find anywhere. XTR hydraulic brakes provide the best stopping power you'll find anywhere. Rounding out the build is set of premium KTM Prime CC 27.5 TL Ready (by DT-Swiss) tubeless rims wheels wrapped up in Schwalbe Thunder Burt 27.5x2.25 tires. Topping the bike is a Selle Italia SLR XC Flow saddle, with a KTM Primer Carbon 400/30.9 seatpost, stem and bars.
